My childhood began on a farm. The smells, the sounds and the colors all around inspired me. The connection becomes evident when your eyes lock with another creature. The posture, the strength and their features are all facing you.  They are strong and calculated. I want to celebrate their structure giving them shape from within. Adding bright punches of color to show their strength, and then soft pastels to celebrate their beauty. Then adding layers of transparent paint and pencil to create movement and life.
