Antique Edwardian 9ct gold fob pendant, featuring a slice of red Carnelian. This type of stone were commonly used in fobs and often had family crests carved into them, they would have been worn on a gentleman's watch chain mostly for decoration. The smooth oval carnelian stone has a rich deep red colour and is cold to the touch.
MEASUREMENTS
The fob measures 2.0cm / 0.8" in height (excluding the finding). The stone measures 1.9cm / 0.7" in length and 1.5cm / 0.6" in height. The necklaces hangs from a new 18" 9ct yellow gold chain. The piece is not hallmarked.

The pendant is in excellent antique condition.
